Police have detained 13 demonstrators who took over the office of the president of Stanford University.

Thirteen pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested after barricading themselves in the office of the president of Stanford University. They demanded that the administration meet several demands, including a vote on whether to divest from companies supporting Israel's military. The occupation caused extensive damage, with graffiti criticizing the police, Stanford, and Israel. The protesters intended to remain in the building until their demands were met, calling on the university to consider divesting from companies allegedly supporting the Israeli military. They also demanded support from the university president, disclosure of the endowment's holdings, and the dropping of disciplinary measures against pro-Palestinian activists. This incident occurred on the final day of classes for the spring quarter, while an established Pro-Palestinian encampment remains on campus.
