Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass's official residence, the Getty House, was broken into, and an intruder was apprehended by the Los Angeles Police Department. The break-in occurred early Sunday when the intruder smashed a window to enter while the mayor and her family were home. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained. Mayor Bass had previously experienced a burglary at her personal home before taking office.
