Hannah Senesh: The Poet and Paratrooper Who Resisted the Nazis


Senesh fled Hungary just before World War II, escaping the rise of the Nazis.

However, unlike many Jews who sought refuge from the impending danger, she chose to return to her homeland to join the fight against the Nazi regime.

Today, Senesh is celebrated as a hero in Israel for her bravery and commitment to the cause.
