U.S. Olympic Officials Prohibit Transgender Women from Competing in Women's Events


The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee announced a revision to its eligibility rules on Monday, aligning its policies with an executive order issued by President Trump.

This change transfers the authority over eligibility decisions from the individual national governing bodies for each sport to the committee itself.

The new regulations are part of the committee's effort to ensure compliance with the stipulations outlined in the executive order.
