Ukraine targets two additional Russian ammunition storage facilities.

Ukraine conducted airstrikes on two significant ammunition depots deep inside Russia, marking the second such attack within a week. The strikes targeted facilities near Toropets and Tikhoretsk, more than 200 miles from Ukraine. While drones were used to strike Toropets, the exact weapons used in Tikhoretsk were not specified. These attacks aim to disrupt Russian military logistics and counter Moscow's military superiority. The impact of these strikes on Russian forces remains to be seen, but experts highlight the strategic importance of targeting ammunition depots to weaken Russian capabilities on the battlefield. Ukraine, seeking to intensify its attacks on Russian military infrastructure, has been lobbying for authorization to use powerful Western missiles inside Russia but has not yet received it. To compensate, Ukraine has been modifying its existing weaponry for long-range strikes.
