A pair of previously unreleased episodes were discovered in film canisters wrapped in plastic bags among the belongings of a deceased collector in England.
BBC archivists subsequently restored the two unearthed episodes, making them available again after preservation work.
The discovery emerged from the possessions of the late collector, and the restoration process was carried out to preserve the material for archival and public viewing purposes.
