Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that discussions regarding a U.S. plan to resolve the Gaza conflict are currently centered on negotiating a hostage release in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal from certain areas of Gaza.
Rubio indicated that more complex issues will be addressed at a later stage in the negotiations.
